Google has reportedly hired Adobe Photoshop honcho John Nack to help manage its photo editing tools.

A former principal product manager for Photoshop at Adobe, Nack confirmed his tie-up with Google on his blog on Monday.

Nack, expressed his delight over joining Google and said that now he would get a chance to work on some new projects, adding that he was proud of the impact he has had at Adobe and of the legacy he had left behind, the Cnet reported.

Google has successfully made its presence felt in the field of digital photo world over the recent years and in 2012, the company had acquired Nik Software for photo editing on mobile devices and personal computers.
