Google is reportedly working on its "buy now" button to compete with Amazon wherein the users would be able to shop online and purchase products with a single click right through Google's own search result page.The sales would continue to be made through third-party sites. Google plans to compete with Amazon by making its own Amazon Prime-like plan with selected retailers that would offer free two-day shipping for an annual fee, reported the Verge.There is no confirmation on the plan to be moving ahead but the plan is apparently logical.Data shows that 39 percent of online shoppers in the United States started their research on Amazon while only 11 percent started on Google.Data from research giant Forrester shows that 39 percent of online shoppers in the US last quarter started their research on Amazon, while only 11 percent started it on a search engine like Google.
