Facebook announces that users can now upload a video of themselves in the comment section to tell the world exactly how they feel and it’s pretty easy to do. Simply click on the camera icon in the comment box and upload a video.

As of now, the feature is only available on desktop with plans to expand the feature to iOS and Android devices. The new feature is similar to uploading a photo and will give users the ability to upload a video seamlessly with a smartphone.

The mastermind and lead creator Bob Baldwin, created this feature to commemorate his 7th anniversary or (how he likes to call it ‘Faceversary’) with the company. The feature was created earlier this year at Facebook’s 50th Hackathon.

The feature can be used to reply to “posts by people and pages, as well as within groups and events.”

Facebook is currently the most used social media platform and with new innovations coming out all the time to keep their users happy the company plans to keep it that way.
