When Asus announced their Zenfone 3 series at Computex in May, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe already looked like a pretty stellar phone. However,  Asus has decided to go ahead and do one better. The 5.7-inch flagship has been given a processor upgrade; from Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 to the newer, faster, Snapdragon 821. This makes the Zenfone 3 Deluxe officially the world’s first smartphone to run the new 2.4GHz chipset, as well as the faster Adreno 530.Aside from that the remainder of the specifications remain the same. It packs 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 246GB via microSD). It comes equipped with a 23MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera, as well as dual SIM support (via a hybrid slot). It’s powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0, and will be available in gold, silver and grey color variants. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is priced at US $499 (approximately Rs 33,500), and is one of the first few upcoming smartphones to support Google’s Daydream VR platform.
