Apple’s latest iPad Air is reportedly five time more popular than its fourth-generation iPad launched last year.

Mobile-app analytics firm, Fiksu, tracked how many iOS devices are using its client apps on an hourly basis, and found that iPad Air usage (0.75 percent of Fiksu apps) was roughly five times higher than that of the iPad 4 (0.14 percent) three days after launch.

According to Mashable, the data went up four times higher than it was for the original iPad mini (0.21 percent).

The recently released iPad Air is touted to be slimmer, thinner and faster than any of the previous version.
