Apple online store shut down in preparation for iPhone 7 launch event
The online store has been temporarily taken offline, as we eagerly await the new launches prepped for tonight's keynote.
As is standard on Apple keynote days, the company’s online store was shut down temporarily earlier today with a “Please check back soon” message.Business has been halted, in order to rebuild the website for the impending new releases, as well as to generate hype for the event, set to begin at 10:30pm tonight.Apple is expected to reveal the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at its event, as well as a new second generation Apple Watch. Leaks surrounding the new smartphone have hinted at a specs boost, a new dual camera system on the 5.5-inch model, and the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack.However, though initial reports indicated we’d see some new Mac launches as well, it’s unlikely those releases will pan out tonight.Stay tuned to dnaindia.com as we continue to bring you updates tonight.
