Amazon is all set to charge into the gaming space it seems, and not with the casual kind either.

The company has posted a job listing on Gamasutra, a prominent portal for hiring game developers, with 26 positions open in their latest venture. The company is “building a team of top talent for an ambitious new PC game project using the latest technology.” 

Based in Seattle, the team already consists of ex-developers who have worked on titles like Half Life 2, Left for Dead, Dota 2, Halo, Infamous, Shadows of Mordor and The Last of Us. That alone tells us Amazon is pulling out all the stops; this isn’t going to be a Candy Crush-type “match three” game, it’ll be a AAA title for the PC. And, seeing as Amazon purchased the gameplay streaming website Twitch a while ago, you can bet it’ll tie in there.
