Apollo 11 astronauts Mike Collins, Neil Armstrong and Edin 'Buzz' Aldrin posed in front of the Lunar Landing Module Simulator at the Kennedy Space Centre, USA before landing on the moon.

The lunar module landed on the moon on July 20, 1969 and returned to the command module on July 21. The command module left the Lunar Orbit on July 22 and returned to earth with a splash into the Pacific Ocean on July 24, 1969.
