Users who wish to join the WhatsApp Web Beta program will be able to use up to four devices at once, including the Facebook portal.
Messaging app WhatsApp is working on the WhatsApp Web Beta program for iOS as well as Android users which will allow users to use WhatsApp Web without having to keep their phones connected to the internet.
As per the WABetaInfo website, the screenshots shared by the tipster said that these features are not supported with current version of beta but is going to be available soon. Let’s have a look at some of these features.
1. Compatibility

The WhatsApp Web Beta program will be compatible with both WhatsApp Messenger and WhatsApp Business. This will be helpful in testing the app’s hyped multi-device functionality.
2. Latest version of WhatsApp

If the user wishes to call or message someone from their liked device, the other account should have the latest version of WhatsApp on their phone otherwise it won’t work.
3. All user accounts should have WhatsApp Web Beta for compatibility

The screenshots say that other WhatsApp accounts that won’t be on your portal won’t work unless those accounts too have joined the WhatsApp Web Beta program. Also, calling using a Portal that has not joined Whatsapp Beta will also not work.
4. Option of Delete for everyone

Once the user joins the WhatsApp Web Beta program, the option of Delete for Everyone will be supported on linked devices but all other message deletion features will not.

As per the screenshots, once the beta program is available, the option to join the program will be in the Settings menu under the option of WhatsApp Web/Desktop option. On clicking the WhatsApp Web Beta program option, users will get a prompt that says, “Join the new WhatsApp Web Beta, which no longer requires that you keep your phone connected.” On clicking the ‘Got it’ option, users will be able to join the program
