WWE fame Ashley Massaro dies at 39, tributes from co-wrestlers pour in

WWE Thursday informed that former wrestling fame Ashley Massaro was no more after the wrestler passed away at the age of 39.

Soon after her death news became public, many wrestlers took to social media and paid tribute to the former wrestler on her sudden demise. 

According to reports, Ashley Massaro, who was part of the WWE during 2005 - 2008, was planning a comeback in to the wrestling world but this unfortunate news came before that. 

WWE in its statement on the death of Ashley Massaro said, "We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro. WWE offers its condolences to Ashley’s family and friends.”

Another WWE fame Torrie Wilson expressed her thoughts on the death of Massaro and said, "I can’t even begin to explain how devastated I am to hear about @ashleymassaro11 – legit one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. When we fall into a dark place it can seem like it will never change but if you are there PLEASE keep hope & reach out for help."

Intercontinental and World Tag Team Champion Rikishi also took to Twitter and wrote, "Absolutely sad to hear this today and still can’t believe it. You will be missed my friend @ashleymassaro11 rest easy. My prayers and condolences go out to Ashley daughter and her entire family."

In what could be termed as Ashley's last tweet, the former WWE wrestler had written a message for her fans saying, "Just answered a ton of fanmail so you guys should be receiving them soon!"

Ashley Massaro aka Ashley Marie Massaro was a professional wrestler, television host, reality tv contestant and also a model. She had also appeared on the show Survivor: China. 

It is yet to be known what caused Ashley Massaro's death.
