Sam Querrey is the talk of the town.
None expected two-time defending champion Novak Djokovic to get ousted in the third round of Wimbledon but then he met big-serving American Sam Querrey who sent the Serbian packing, shattering his dreams of securing the first calendar Grand Slam in 47 years.
The world number one, bidding for a fourth Wimbledon title and 13th major, suffered his earliest loss at a Slam since the 2009 French Open. The 7-6 (8/6), 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (7/5) third round defeat also ended Djokovic's Open era record run of 30 successive wins at the majors and his streak of having reached 28 consecutive Grand Slam quarter-finals.
Upset of the tournament.

Here are some interesting facts about Sam Querry:-
Sam Austin Querrey, born on October 7, 1987 is from San Francisco, California and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Querrey, whose current ranking is 41 has career-high singles ranking of 17, which achieved in January 2011.
Querrey holds the record for most consecutive service aces since the ATP began keeping records of those statistics, with 10 in a 2007 match against James Blake
Querrey turned down a scholarship offer from the University of Southern California (USC) to turn pro.[4] His father Mike Querrey recommended that his son try making it in tennis,[5] as he often regretted his own decision to go to the University of Arizona rather than play baseball for the Detroit Tigers, who had drafted him.
Querrey has never managed to reach the quarter-final of any Grand Slam with his best effort being 4th round appearances in Wimbledon (2010, 2016) and US Open (2008, 2010).
