Things have improved a bit for Rooney during the turn of the year, and the fans are loving him a little more, but we still didn’t expect him to start getting snogged by comic superheroes. We were surprised to see Man Utd’s official Twitter handle share this image but then it turns out that that Deadpool, like the rest of us, always dreamt of playing at the Theatre of Dreams!
Apparently, this is part of 20th Century Fox’s partnership with Manchester United and part of the promotions ahead of the new Deadpool movie.Here's how Twitter reacted:
