South Africa coach Russell Domingo confirmed on Tuesday that senior pros Jacques Kallis and Dale Steyn are fit and available for selection against India. “Resting them in the final ODI against Pakistan was a precautionary measure,” he said. Smarting from the series loss to Pakistan, Domingo said his boys aren’t poor players of spin bowling. “We have won five of our last eight ODIs. I don’t think we are weak against spin bowlers (on the whole). It’s just one or two spin bowlers like Saeed Ajmal,” he said. When reminded that India, too, have a good bunch of spinners, he said, “I think the conditions are so important. Up here in Johannesburg, spinners become a less of a factor.”Domingo said early wickets would be the key. “The way batters are batting these days, you need early wickets. India will feel the same way. If they can get AB (de Villiers), (Jacques) Kallis and (Hashim) Amla, they will know they are in with a chance.”
