The hearts of thousands of fans at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami almost skipped a beat as a dangling cat fell from the upper tier during the college football game between Miami Hurricanes and Appalachian State Mountaineers Football.
The hosts eventually won the game 25-23 but the bizarre moment stole the limelight and thankfully for everyone the cat was safe. The reason for the cat reaching the upper deck in the first place is still unknown but the fans made sure there was no damage done.
A few Miami fans standing under the deck formed a net with the American flag to save the cat from falling and eventually dying since it was a long distance. The cat did its best to hold on with its limbs but eventually fell into the safety net which broke its fall eventually to the ground.

However, since the fall was broken the cat was safe and a couple of fans held the cat in the air to confirm that the cat was safe indeed.
The saviours were identified as married couple Craig and Kimberly Cromer and Craig talking to Miami Herald said, "This is my first catch."
