The home team after being put into bat by Raina were reeling at 21 for three at the end of five overs. The Gujarat Lions' captain then introduced Dwayne Smith into the attack and he made an immediate impact by cramping Surya Kumar Yadav for room and the batsman tried to lift the back of a length delivery over Raina, who was standing in the first slip position. However, Yadav couldn't believe his eyes as Raina threw himself to his left and grabbed the ball out of thin air with his right hand, much like a football goal-keeper, to reduce the Knight Riders to 24 for four.

Even the commentators couldn't believe their eyes as one of them quipped, "Give him the best catch of the tournament's trophy just now."

There have been quite a few stunning efforts on the field this IPL season, but this one will surely remain in the memories of the fans for a long time.
