Lyon, who is having a direct competition with Zampa for a place in the national squad against the hosts, says it is a privilege to work alongside the leggie in the nets, adding he is excited to see him coming through as a good spinner in the upcoming series.

The 28-year-old off-spinner believes Zampa has backed his strengths really well and his spinning ability, which would surely take him a long way."He's backed himself. He understands where his game is at. He trusts his spinning ability and he's come along in leaps and bounds," Lyon was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au.

Lyon further hoped to play alongside his teammate in the ongoing tri-series, which also features South Africa, and win a couple of games for the side.
