UEFA Europa League 2019/20 draw: Man Utd and Arsenal get easy draws as Rangers face tough competition

On Friday, the UEFA Europa League ground stage draw took place just a day after the Champions League draw happened.  

While La Liga club Sevilla in Group A were handed a relatively straightforward task and are expected to finish top with APOEL, Qarabag and Dudelange contesting for the second qualifier spot.  

Last year's finalists' Arsenal in Group F will be going up against Eintracht Frankfurt, Standard Liege and Vitoria SC. In Group J, AS Roma and Gladbach will be going head to head against İstanbul Başakşehir and Wolfsberger for a top finish. 

English giants and 2017 UEFA Europa League winners Manchester United in L will be going up against Astana, Partizan and AZ Alkmaar and are expected to qualify for the last 36 as the group leaders. 

The Draw: 

Group A:  Sevilla, APOEL, Qarabag, F91 Dudelange.

Group B: Dynamo Kyiv, FC Copenhagen, Malmo, FC Lugano.

Group C: Basel, Krasnodar, Getafe, Trabzonspor.

Group D: Sporting CP, PSV, Rosenborg, LASK.

Group E: Lazio, Celtic, Rennes, CFR Cluj.

Group F: Arsenal, Eintracht Frankfurt, Standard Liege, Vitoria.

Group G: Porto, Young Boys, Feyenoord, Rangers.

Group H: CSKA Moscow, Ludogorets, Espanyol, Ferencvaros.

Group I: Wolfsburg, Gent, Saint-Etienne, Olexandriya.

Group J: Roma, Monchengladbach, Istanbul Basaksehir, Wolfsberger.

Group K: Besiktas, Braga, Wolves, Slovan Bratislava.

Group L: Manchester United, FC Astana, Partizan Belgrade, AZ Alkmaar. 

When will the fixtures take place?

Matchday one: 19 September

Matchday two: 3 October

Matchday three: 24 October

Matchday four: 7 November

Matchday five: 28 November

Matchday six: 12 December
