3. 'Hope to help our nation overcome this pandemic,' says Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra who donated to combat COVID-19

While many sports stars are making their contributions to help the country in its fight against coronavirus, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra on Tuesday announced that he has donated Rs 2 lakh to PM-CARES Fund and Rs 1 Lakh to Haryana COVID Relief Fund.

"I have donated a sum of Rs.2 Lakh to #PMCARES fund and Rs.1 Lakh to the Haryana COVID Relief Fund. I hope we all can come together in our own individual capacities to bring relief during this time and help our nation overcome this pandemic," Neeraj tweeted.

While all players are in self-isolation amid the coronavirus outbreak, Australia Test skipper Tim Paine managed to get robbed. On Tuesday, the Test skipper found his wallet stolen from his car.

Paine, who had moved his car onto the street so he could transform his garage into a home gym, said when he woke up, he got a message from National Australia Bank (NAB) about some movement in his account.
