While there have been rumours about Real eyeing the likes of Eden Hazad, Kylian Mbappe, the latest gossip that has taken a flight after Real’s statement earlier in the day, is Neymar’s move to Real Madrid.

Neymar’s link to Real Madrid got stronger when Spanish football journalist, Mootaz Chehade, who has a verified Twitter account tweeted, “Real Madrid have sent a club official to Brazil to finalise the Neymar deal.”

Earlier, FC Barcelona’s skipper Lionel Messi had expressed that he would not like it if his former teammate and good firend Neymar joined Barca’s arch-rivals Real Madrid.

“It would be terrible because of everything that Ney means to Barcelona. Although [Neymar's time in Barcelona] ended the way it did, he won important titles here, he won the Champions League, he won La Liga.

If he ends up in Madrid it would be a tough blow for us and for all of Barcelona. And on a football level, it would make Madrid much stronger than they already are,” Messi had said in an interview.

Meanwhile, according to reports, out of Mbappe, Neymar and Hazard, Real would love to sign Neymar.

Their interest in him is not new, with Real Madrid Florentino Perez tracking him since his days as a Brazilian prodigy with Santos. However, Neymar had landed in Barcelona in 2013 because of the Catalan giants’ relationship with his father key.

Even last summer when Perez was ready to buyout Neymar’s £200million clause, PSG somehow managed to snatch Neymar away from Real.

While the club has been keen to sign him forever now, Real’s fans have had other ideas. Neymar’s ego issues has been one of the major reasons for his unpopularity among the Real and other football fans.
