The ban is the longest in the tennis' history, the BBC reported. Murray said that it was 'good for tennis' that they got Odesnik off tour, adding that it is the end of the American's career and he can't even come on site to events or coach.Murray claimed that Odesnik is a 'cheat' and it is 'good for everyone in tennis that the American is dealt with in the right way'. Earlier, when news of the ban was announced, the British number one tweeted, 'Bye bye Wayne... Good riddance.'
Former world number one and 2003 US Open champion Andy Roddick echoed Murray's comments. The retired American tweeted that he hates that Odesnik has a US flag next to his name when he's cheating, adding 'good riddance' to his tweet.
