In an attempt to raise funds, the Nadigar Sangam, also known as the South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA) have organised the Natchathira Cricket, which is the Tamil version of Celebrity Cricket League.

The tournament, played by eight teams consisting of popular Tamil stars will be played on Sunday, 17th April at the  MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. 

Nadigar Sangam sources asserted that eminent stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Chiranjeevi, Amitab Bachchan and Mammootty have confirmed their presence.

The funds raised from this tournament will be used for the construction of a new bidding for the SIFAA.

The tournament is slated to begin from 10am on end by 10pm.

Here is the full list of the teams and their players who will take part in the five-over matches in Natchathira Cricket:

Chennai Singams: Surya (captain), Vikranth, Arjun Sarja, Hansika Motwani, Arun Vijay, Siva, Nanda, Uday, Keerthi Chawla, Gowri Mungal, Divya and Rukmani.

Madurai Kaalais: Vishal (captain), Soori, Rishi, Arulnithi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Ramana, RK Suresh, Manzoor Ali Khan, Janani Aiyer, Madhumitha, Chandini and Nikki Galrani.

Kovai Kings: Karthi (captain), Prashanth, Vishnu, Bharath, JK Rithish, Sanjay, Mahendran, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shrushti Dange, Madhu Shalini, Abhinayasri and Mumtaz Misha.
