Pakistani-origin leg-spinner Imran Tahir has reportedly earned a recall to South Africa's Test squad ahead of the second match against the West Indies, following an injury to Robin Peterson.The South Africans will face West Indies in the second Test at St George's Park on Friday. The hosts won the first match by an innings and 220 runs.Peterson was ruled out of the rest of the series after being hit on the left index finger, during fielding practice on Tuesday, Sport24 reported.

Tahir, who became eligible to play for his adopted country in 2011, has not been part of the South Africa's Test squad since he played against Sri Lanka in July this year, as off-spinner Dane Piedt and left-armer Peterson have been preferred since then.

Tahir, who has taken 40 wickets in his 15 Tests, is likely to play in Port Elizabeth, the report added.
