The Slovenian football team has one man in its sights during next year's World Cup in South Africa -- England and Manchester United star forward Wayne Rooney.

The former has vowed to get revenge against the latter for a horror tackle in a recent friendly at Wembley, reports The Daily Express.

Slovenia defender Bostjan Cesar was the victim in that incident, and he revealed that the whole Slovenian team would be determined to make the World Cup clash an “unpleasant experience for Rooney”.

Cesar said: “The whole of Europe knows what Rooney did ?" he deliberately tried to injure me. It’s not sportsmanlike. I have a clear conscience, but I doubt he has one. We’ll give our all to make the England game an unpleasant experience for Rooney and his team-mates. We’re confident we can beat anybody and reach the second round.”

England beat Slovenia 2-1 at Wembley in September but the mood will be different in the World Cup hot-house.
