World No.38 was the last Indian left in the tournament and went down to Indonesian fourth seed Tommy Sugiarto 10-21, 15-21 in 36 minutes in their first ever face-off.

The World No.4 Indonesian was dominant in the first game, leading from start to finish.

In the second game, the Indian national champion provided some fight, equalising at 15-all, but Sugiarto won the next six points to wrap up the game and match.
