National Rifle Association (NRA) Secretary Rajiv Bhatia said that Pakistan shooter’s visa & participation in the upcoming Shooting World Cup which is being held in Delhi has been approved by Home Ministry & forwarded to the High Commission & Islamabad.

Raji Bhatia said, “I received a call from the High Commission on Friday and they confirmed the names again. Hopefully, the visa will be granted today. Two shooters and a coach from Pakistan are supposed to come on 20 February. Home Ministry has cleared it so there's no denial on that.”

The Shooting World Cup event will take place at the Dr Karni Singh Range in Delhi. It is the first ISSF World Cup of 2019 and has 16 Tokyo 2020 Olympics quota places up for grabs.

Hosts India are fielding a 23-member squad with 11 shooters in the non-competition Minimum Qualification Score (MQS) category.
