NEW DELHI: Sania Mirza and her American partner Alicia Molik came back from behind to chalk out a 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 win against Czech-Ukraine pair of Eva Hrdinova and Yuliana Fedak and stormed into the final of the Istanbul Cup on Friday.

The Indo-Australian pair will take on the winner of the semi-final match between Ukraine-Belarus pair of Alona Bondarenko/Anastasiya Yakimova and Israel-Slovak duo of Janette Husarova/Shahar Peer in the final.

Mirza's singles journey ended following her second round defeat at the hands of Michaella Krajicek of the Netherlands but a better show in the doubles should keep her in good stead ahead of the French Open Grand Slam beginning on Sunday.
