NAGPUR: Nagpur Police have handed over details of the taped conversation between West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels and alleged cricket bookie Mukesh Kochar to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for further investigation, top police sources said on Saturday.

It is learnt that the police informed the ED about the fluctuation in betting rates following conversation between the two, which took place during odd hours on January 19 and 20.

The ED will also look into whether the one-day match between India and the West Indies on January 21 here was "fixed".

The police suspected that the betting rate on a West Indies win suddenly dropped after the conversion between the player and the punter.

"The drop in betting rates clearly indicates that the bookies knew about India's victory," police sources said.
