Manchester United, after the sacking of Jose Mourinho, have been undergoing a transition phase under their new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

So far the transition has been top notch as the side has been unbeaten in the last six games across competitions. Solskjaer became the first-ever in the history to win his first six matches as Man United's manager. The next best was the legendary Matt Busby who won his first five matches as United's boss.

Under the perfect start from Solskjaer, the 21-year-old Marcus Rashford has been the centre-stage having scored four times in the last six games.

Solskjaer's historic sixth win came after Rashford netted one home after a brilliant pass to give Man United a 1-0 win over Spurs in Wembley.

Rashford scored his 40th goal for Man United in the 1-0 win on Sunday. The youngster has taken 149 matches to reach the milestone. Although, it is way too early to make any comparisons if made one would find Rashford ahead of Ronaldo after 149 appearances for Man United.

Ronaldo managed only 31 goals in 149 appearances for United, nine fewer than Rashford.

Former Real Madrid forward, who is currently playing in the Italian Serie A, signed for Man United in 2003 as an 18-year-old and went on to score 118 goals in 292 appearances for the English club.
