Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed has said that he is determined to help his side reach new heights following his ascendency to the one-day and T20 vice-captaincy.Sarfraz was appointed as the depute of new skipper Azhar Ali on back of a strong World Cup performance, where the wicket-keeper batsman scored a crucial 49 runs and levelled the one-day world record of six catches behind the stumps against South Africa in Auckland.Subsequently, Sarfraz smacked Pakistan's only World Cup hundred against Ireland to guide his side to the quarter-finals, before losing to eventual champions Australia.Describing his appointment as vice-captain as a 'good opportunity' and an 'honour', Sarfraz said that skipper Azhar is a good friend and together they would take their team forward, Sport24 reported.Pakistan's tour of Bangladesh will commence with the first of three ODIs on April 17 followed by a Twenty20 International on April 24 and a two-Test series beginning on April 28.
