LONDON: Indian fans had mixed luck with Leander Paes tasting success and Sania Mirza's campaign coming to an end with her mixed doubles loss at the Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis on Thursday.

Paes and Samantha Stosur of Australia entered the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Sebastian Prieto of Argentina and Flavia Pennetta of Italy in the third round.

The duo will take on star American pair Bob Bryan and Venus Williams in the quarterfinals.

Mirza and Pavel Vizner of the Czech Republic went down fighting 3-6, 7-5, 2-6 to Canadian Daniel Nestor and Elena Likhovtseva of Russia in another third round match.
