MS Dhoni calls APJ Abdul Kalam the 'greatest role model' for the country
Condoling the demise of former president APJ Abdul Kalam, MS Dhoni on Wednesday said the former was the greatest role model for the country.

"It is a very sad moment...He came from a humble background, achieved a lot because of his work and became supreme commander of the armed forces (President), there can't be a better success story than this," Dhoni said.
He is an ideal role model to the youngsters.... We're blessed that we have seen him, he always believed in hard work, He was the greatest role model for the country," he added.
Dr Kalam passed away in Shillong on Monday evening. He collapsed after suffering a massive cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management.
Considered one of the most popular presidents of India, Dr Kalam became the 11th head of the state and occupied the post between 2002 and 2007.
