Michael Clarke introduces new girlfriend to his parents

Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke is said to have introduced his girlfriend of seven months Kyly Boldy to his family.

Last night, the Clarke family celebrated Clarke's 30th birthday, which falls on Saturday, with a dinner at a private home in Cronulla.

Boldy has stood quietly in the background of Clarke's life since last August, waiting patiently while Clarke toured India with the Aussie cricket squad in the hope that their friendship might flourish into something more.

The aspiring TV presenter and former Miss Indy was reunited with Clarke on Monday when the couple popped out in Bondi to grab some sushi for dinner.

"They are very happy together. They are good friends and have been spending a lot of time together. They have no plans to move in together and she knows cricket comes first and will for a long time,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a friend as saying.
