Michael Clarke defends decision to leave New Zealand tour for Lara Bingle split

Aussie cricketer Michael Clarke has said that he doesn't regret his decision to leave New Zealand tour in the middle to attend to his break-up with Lara Bingle. Clarke opened up about the whole situation in the September-October issue of GQ Australia."My decision that I made there was what I thought was right," the Australian quoted him as saying."I respect playing for my country that much that I thought, if I'm going to let anybody down, I shouldn't be here - there's somebody else who could be doing a better job than me. "Going home was the right decision at the time for me. I don't regret that decision," he added.
