The Indian men's team in the 10m air pistol event and the women in 50m rifle 3 position event failed to qualify for their respective final rounds on day five of competition at the ISSF Shooting World Cup in Gabala, Azerbaijan.

In the women's 50m rifle 3 position event, Lajja Gauswami finished 27th in qualification with a score of 579, Elizabeth Susan Koshy shot 576 to finish in 43rd position while Anjum Moudgil was placed 46th with a score of 575.

In men's 10m air pistol, Gurpreet Singh was placed 18th in qualification with a score of 578, Jitu Rai, already assured of an Olympic quota, was in 20th place shooting a score of 576. Omkar Singh finished in 24th place with a score of 575.

In 50m rifle 3 positions, Surendra Sinh Rathod was placed 12th with a score of 1165 in his elimination round. Chain Singh was at 15th position at the end of his elimination round with a score of 1161 while Gagan Narang was at 25th position with a score of 1158..

The qualification and finals of this event is slated for today.
