LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers became the youngest player to score 15,000 career points in the NBA on Friday, bettering Kobe Bryant's record by more than two years.The small forward accomplished the feat at 25 years, 79 days in his team's 92-85 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Bryant was 27 years, 136 days old when he reached the mark with the Los Angeles Lakers. With 29 points in Friday's game, James has now scored 15,026 points in his more than six years in the NBA.He set the new record on the second of two free throws with 6:39 to play in the first quarter, helping Cleveland, the NBA's top team, to a sixth consecutive victory.
