Marc-Andre ter Stegen made history on Sunday night against Leganes as he made his 100th La Liga appearance for Barcelona.
The 26-year-old became the first German goalkeeper to reach a century of outings in the Spanish top flight. Across all competitions, Ter Stegen has played 167 matches for Barcelona.
It could have been a clean sheet appearance for the Ter Stegen, but he could not withstand Martin Braithwaite who in the second half cancelled out Ousmane Dembele’s first-half marker.
Ter Stegen had arrived at Barcelona in the summer of 2014. He immediately did not become the goalkeeper until the following season as he usurped Claudio Bravo, with the German starting in the Champions League and the Copa del Rey during his debut campaign.
The other players to complete are Victor Valdes, who is at the top with 387 matches, followed by Andoni Zubizarreta (301), Antoni Ramallets (288), Salvador Sadurni (247), Pedro Maria Artola (186), Juan Zambudio Velasco (168), Javier Urruticoechea (120), Juan Jose Nogues (114) and Miguel Reina (111).
