Kohli and Kane meet in London ahead of crucial World Cup and UEFA Champions League ties

Just before team India’s first warm-up match at the ICC World Cup 2019 in England, Indian skipper Virat Kohli met Harry Kane, captain of England’s football team on Friday.

Kohli and Co are currently training in London, where Premier League club Spurs are gearing up for the most critical tie of their club history, the UEFA Champions League final.

Harry Kane posted this picture on his social media accounts with a header: “After a few tweets in the last couple of years good to finally meet Virat Kohli. A great guy and a brilliant sportsman.”

 


Virat Kohli also posted the same picture on his social media accounts with a header: "It was a pleasure meeting you Harry Kane and all the best for the finals."

Kane is expected to captain Tottenham against Liverpool on the 2nd June in Marid for the holy grail of European club football. This is the very first time in their history, Spurs have made it into the final of Champions League after their double comeback miracles against the current Premier League champion, Manchester City and the Eredivisie champions, Ajax.

Virat Kohli led team India also have a similarly tough task ahead of them at the 2019 Cricket World Cup, as the 'Men In Blue' will look to capture their third World Cup Title. 

India begins its World Cup 2019 campaign on Saturday against New Zealand in England.
