Kaushik won the title clash for the loss of just three games as he outplayed qualifier Siddharth Karur 6-2 6-1.

The girls final was also a lop-sided affair with Jha outclassing Bhagyamani Manshi 6-1 6-1.

"Usually the players get only AITA rankings points but we also distributed gift voucher of Rs 6000 to the winner and of Rs 4000 to the runners-up," said Vivek Satyajit, Director of the Grand Slam Foundation, which organised the event in collaboration with the ONGC.

"It's important to encourage new talent," Satyajit added.
