DUBAI: India's upcoming fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been summoned by match referee Jeff Crowe for a disciplinary hearing on Monday after a face-off with Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds on Sunday.

Ishant had exchanged heated words with Symonds and had pointed fingers towards the pavilion after he dismissed the Australian all-rounder in their cricket tri-series match in Sydney on Sunday.

Ishant has been charged under Clause 1.6 of the ICC Code of Conduct and if found guilty he could be reprimanded or fined upto 50 per cent of his match fee, ICC spokesman Sami-ul Hasan said.

The hearing will be held at the team hotel.
