KARACHI: Inzamam-ul-Haq, who is facing an International Cricket Council (ICC) disciplinary hearing, will lead the Pakistan squad in next month's Champions Trophy in India.   

 

Inzamam faces two charges of ball-tampering and bringing the game into disrepute at the hearing on Sept. 27 or 28.   

 

He could face a maximum ban of eight one-dayers and four tests under the ICC code of conduct regulations.   

 

The squad for the competition was announced on Wednesday by the Pakistan Cricket Board.   

 

The preliminary phase of the Champions Trophy begins on Oct. 7 and the group stage starts on Oct. 15. The final will be held on Nov. 5.
