Discus-thrower Karamjyoti Dalal took India's medal tally to three after bagging a bronze at ongoing World Para Athletics Championships 2017.

According to a report in Times of India, Dalal threw the discus at the distance of 19.02 metres defeating Baharain's Alomari Roba who managed 19.01 metres in F-55 category.

Apart from Dalal, Sundar Singh Gurjar clinched gold for India in the Men's javelin throw event. Dalal couldn't do her best in 2016's Rio Paralympics. But the 30-year-old made a strong comeback at Fazaa International IPC Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai earlier in March by winning gold medal in the same category.
