MUMBAI: India 'A' cricket team physio Vaibhav Daga might take up a temporary position with the seniors team during its visit to England, the Cricket Board (BCCI) said on Saturday.

Daga was being considered for the job as a stop-gap arrangement following an injury to John Gloster, the full-time physio, during a practice session in Ireland where the team was currently touring.

"Gloster broke his hand during fielding practice and might be away for two months," BCCI Chief Administrative Officer Ratnakar Shetty said on the sidelines of Mumbai Cricket Association website launch here.

Besides, the BCCI was also considering the option of roping in a professional from England itself, Shetty said.
