India, the highest-ranked team in the five-team tournament, have not performed to their full potential yet in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship 2021.
Now, Wednesday's round-robin meeting against hosts Maldives will be the knock-out - a virtual semi-final as the seven-time champions fight for a place in the final of the SAFF Championship.
