Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard had a busy Wednesday. Not only did she unveil pictures from a magazine shoot she had done in swimwear, she also kept her word by going out on a date with a complete stranger.

The 22-year-old expressed her excitement for the launch of her stunning pictures on Twitter. "Finally got my hands on the mag," she exclaimed.

Later in the evening, the 42nd ranked player in the world went out on a date with a stranger after she had lost a bet with him on Twitter during the Super Bowl final.

With the Atlanta Falcons enjoying a huge lead at half-time during the final a couple of weeks ago, Bouchard had tweeted, "I knew Atlanta would win btw."

To this, a random New England Patriots fan commented, "@geniebouchard if patriots win we go on a date?"

"Sure," replied Bouchard confidently. However, as luck would have it, the Patriots pulled off a stunning comeback in the second half to win 34-28 in overtime. And the tennis star could only muster the courage to say this, "Lesson learned. Never bet against Tom Brady."

Bouchard, though, followed through on the bet and enjoyed a basketball date with the lucky fan on Wednesday night. She even let her followers know how the evening panned out with a series of tweets. "Just met my ’Super Bowl Twitter Date’ John. On our way to the @BrooklynNets game," she wrote.
