Satnam was killed this morning when his gas fitted car caught fire near Sahnewal after it was allegedly hit by an unidentified vehicle from behind.
Police investigating officer Baldev Singh said that the fire spread in no time and 25-year-old Satnam got no chance to jump out of the car.
Satnam was burnt alive and died on the spot. His car was also badly burnt.
The police had registered a case against unidentified persons under section 304A of IPC, Singh added.
