Gunjan Patel, Yagnesh Merai march on

Gunjan Patel continued his winning streak in the senior snooker of the Crazy Pixel Animation Billiards & Snooker Tournament 2012 here at Ellisbridge Gymkhana on Wednesday. Following him was Yagnesh Merai who marched towards the league format.

Gunjan Patel brought his all experience into play against Luv Panchal. Both shared the first two frames equally before Gunjan raised the bar bagging the third and then wrapped up the match 60-31 45-65 50-41 66-40 in the best of the five frames format.

Meanwhile Merai scored a break of 45 highest in the tournament enroute to his victory over Ankur Khaitan. Merai won 51-8 48-38 30-58 64-2.
