Johannesburg: Everton has climbed into the top four of the Premier League following a 1-0 victory away to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, extending their winning run to seven.While Sunderland was left seven points adrift of safety, Everton leapfrogged Arsenal to take a two-point advantage in the race for the fourth and final Champions League place.According to Sport24, Wes Brown scored an own goal by turning a cross from Spaniard Gerard Deulofeu in to his own net quarter of an hour before the end to seal a victory for his rival side Everton and pushed his own bottom-placed team closer to relegation.The victory extended Everton's winning lead to seven for the first time since they last won the title in 1987, the report added.
