Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was in no mood to pander to the sponsors of the UEFA Euro 2020 as he removed the two Coca-Cola bottles kept in front of him during the pre-match press conference ahead of Portugal's game against Hungary on Tuesday.

The striker, who has set fitness benchmarks in the sporting world was irritated seeing the two bottles in front of him and immediately got them out of his sight and instead asked everyone to drink water. Coca-Cola is one of the sponsors of the European championship.

Portugal coach Fernando Santos, who arrived at the conference with him was taken by surprise by Ronaldo along with the members of the media present at the conference.

Ronaldo, in the past also has through his actions asserted the importance of fitness and has openly discussed his dislike for junk food talking about his son's habits quite a few times in the past.

“I’m tough with my son,” Cristiano had recently said. “Sometimes he drinks Coca-Cola and Fanta, he eats crisps and he knows I don’t like it.”
