After being ruled out of the World Cup squad in view of a calf injury, Pakistan veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez claimed that he would have regained fitness before the much-anticipated World Cup clash against India on Sunday.Hafeez's medical report stated that the player would require at least three weeks to recover from his injury, adding that it was not though guaranteed that he would remain a hundred per cent fit throughout the tournament after regaining fitness. In response, Hafeez said that from what he had learnt from the medical panel was that he would have recovered in two weeks' time, the Express Tribune reported.Hafeez further said that he got injured on February 3 while their match against India is on February 15, so he would have regained his fitness, however, the touring management called him and told him that they have asked for his replacement, the report added. The seasoned all-rounder was trying to seek an extension of date for conducting the bio-mechanics test of his bowling action after the ICC suspended Hafeez from bowling for his illegal action.
