According to a report in Daily Mail, the Blues are hoping to rush through the negotiations with Schalke for left wing-back before the deadline.

The 23-year-old Bosnian's contract with Schalke ends at the end of this season. According to the daily, Kolasinac's Juventus move was hampered by Conte, Juve's former manager.

The report says that Italian club offered to pay close to £5 million but Chelsea are willing to pay more to get the player to come to Stamford Bridge.

On the other hand, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is in no mood to let go Craig Gordon. Chelsea made a second bid of around £3.5 million for the goalkeeper who is negotiating a new contract with Celtic.
